Carbon Fiber Mast

Hi All,

I am thinking of replacing Morning Star's original metal mast with a carbon fiber mast. My thought is that a carbon fiber mast would make her less tender and a bit faster, especially in a seaway or light air. I know there are LOTS of considerations to be thought through (cost, new sails, new rigging, etc.) I know that Panacea converted years ago and maybe a few others? I really need to talk with someone who has gone through the conversion to help me cover all the pros and cons.
