Hinckley Pilot 35

Sailing Yachts

Hi everyone. We hauled out today and first on the agenda was servicing the tapered plug seacocks. The outlet seacock for the head is installed in such a way that the plug cannot be removed. The bulkhead is in the way. Has anyone else run in to this? Are we missing something?

Thanks for any information.

Hi Anne,

Please let me know if you know of a simple way to service the head seacock.  I purchased Bijou about 3 years ago and the seacock was "frozen" and has been locked in on position since whenever. I wish to make it serviceable but local yards have all sort of passed on servicing it.  If yours has been made operable please let me know in which way.

Best Wishes,

Carol
