I did go ahead with ordering the new traveler track and car. I ended up going with the Harken 27mm low-beam track; high-load version of the midrange windward sheeting car, and the double sheaved end-stops.

Last September I bought a 1967 Pilot and am in the midst of a winter refit. I am thinking to upgrade my (original) traveler to the Harken windward sheeting system. I'm thinking I should go with the midrange (27mm) r27 track and high load car. Does anyone have experience with upgrading travelers? I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions.See More
