Your Pilot, GLIDE (ex SEA FEVER), was built alongside our TECUMSEH (now CAPER), the latter being #3558. GLIDE was built for Randolph P. Barton, launched in the spring of 1966 and had a hailing port of Manchester, MA. Her original configuration included six berths, Westerbeke diesel (not standard in those days), sloop rig, wheel steering (also not standard) and a Tiny Tot cabin heater. Topside color is listed as "Midwatch Blue" with green bottom. Sorry to report we never heard from Mr. Barton or any subsequent owners of GLIDE and thus she does not have any page in the book other than lsiting in the class roster. You may have more of her history from the USCG documentation records as we do not have her USCG numbers.
The book will be in the mail to you as soon as the Post Office reopens after the holiday.
If you'd like to chat, I can be reached at 434-295-3412.
Enjoy your Pilot.

We still have some Pilot 35 books available. Having been printed in 1984, they are however considerably out of date. This website has much more current information. Since I do not know the history of your Pilot, GLIDE, I can't comment on whether there is a page in the book from her prior owner at the time. If you give me her Pilot number (e.g. 35xx), I'll let you know if she is mentioned.
If you would still like a book, send a check payable to me for $15 to
1544 Elgin Court
Keswick, VA 22947, let me know where to send your book, and I will get it on the way postpaid.
Best for good sailing.

Welcome! We would like you to use your boat name as the registered name rather than your first and last name. Now that you are signed up, it is easy to do. Go to your page, and in the top right-hand green box, click on settings. You will see your name, just change that to your boat's name, and click save at the bottom. To change your profile photo from the Hinckley Talaria to a photo of your own, go to your page, and in the upper right-hand green box, click on settings. Under your name, click on the profile photo, and you can choose one from your computer that you would like to upload
