Does anyone have the original manual that came with the boat? Looking especially for a 1964 custom. Thanks!

I am not aware of any "original manual" for any Hinckley Pilot. Having accessed the S&S and Hinckley files and archives in 1982/3, if there were such a manual, I think I would have come across it. I have a photocopy of the "boat book" sheets that Hinckley compiled on each fiberglass Pilot at the time of its construction. These conrtain the original equipment specs along with certain other details (e.g. original electronics, etc.). Most of these details are set forth in the Pilot 35 book.
How is your Tribeca operation going?

Business is great, so far TARA has had over 2,000 people cross her decks. People just love sailing aboard her. Sad news is NY Harbor is taking it’s toll on TARA. I am trying to keep up but boy is it hard.
I’d love to see that “boat book” All I have left of the original is the front cover. Thanks very much!

Hey John, lost your email and wish to buy your book. Also I discovered about 15-20pound lead bars under the forepeak just aft of the anchor locker. I have noticed that TARA was bow down and removed them. She seems to sail better as a result as there is not as much hobby horsing. As TARA now has a lighter Yanmar do you think the weights were there to counter act the heavier weight of the old Westerbeke? Hope you are doing well.
