Back in '77 Frederique and I bought a 1966 Pilot, originally "Sequence", renamed her "Willow" and owned her for about 14 years.  We were young and an 11-year-old boat seemed antique. For every hour spent sailing a few more were spent maintaining and upgrading, and they were joyful hours and years.

Fast forward another 20 years, making us 34 years older than buying Willow days, looking around at daysailers, maybe a small cruiser, and we discovered the most elegant 35-footer…

Chilean Pilots Blogspot
