Does anyone have the original manual that came with the boat?  Looking especially for a 1964 custom.  Thanks!Continue

"Thank you so very much.  I found John Pratt who is back at Hinckley.  Boy, does he know a lot about Pilots and was a real pleasure to speak with.  $1500 for a new Shaft Log.  Oh well at least it will be just like the original."

TARA's new owner!

Wanted to introduce myself as the new owner of TARA a Custom Pilot 35.  Her new port of call will be Tribeca, NYC on Pier 25.  Her name as been TARA since 1964 so why change as everyone love Gone with the Wind!  The boat will be used as a six-pack boat taking people on 2 hour tours to the Statue of Liberty. If you ever find yourself in Manhattan stop by for a sail.

Thanks for the reply . Did the new decking go on prior to your decision to address the toe rails or were they done at the same time ? Don’t want to paint the deck - how does your approach compare ? If you send an email

address can take this offline

Sailed the last two days. Only boat with sails up in Muscongus Bay. Fabulous! The entire season was terrific., and the weather. Tough on the lawn or small lilacs but to be on the water along Midcoast Maine it was one of the best seasons I can remember.

HPA get together was super. Going into these events I always figure its going to be the last but not after this year. Looking forward to getting together next season with some of the regulars and perhaps attracting somr new boats too Thanks to all and trust you had a good season too!!

I have to agree with Tom and Bonnie.
My wife Leslie and I had the pleasure of sailing with Buzz and Beth in the Pilot Rendezvous and their "Glory" is just magnificent! Especially when you consider all they have done to make her so.
They are wonderful people and fabulous hosts and we are so thankful to have been able to be apart of such an incredible time!

So glad to see you are now part of the family..

We will certainly come sail with you in NY and spread the word.

If you come to  San Francisco come sail aboard SEA ANGEL. Our 26 year old daughter lives aboard and teaches/charters her in Sausalito.

Our best friends Buzz and Beth Billik have a gorgeous Custom Pilot in Maine.

Let us know if you have a Website for your charters.
